What we process and why

Server logs: URL, browser, OS, referrer, IP, timestamp — automatically recorded by our host (Firebase Hosting, Google Cloud, region europe-west3 / Frankfurt) for security and troubleshooting. Deleted after 30 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

Contact form: Name, company, email, message, timestamp, and your browser's language preference. Delivered by our processor Resend (Resend, Inc., Delaware / USA, EU-US Data Privacy Framework certified) as an email to hallo@8tribute.com. Used solely to handle your enquiry. Deleted once the matter is resolved, latest after 24 months, subject to statutory retention requirements. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via checkbox) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps on your request).

Cookies: None for tracking or advertising. Only technically-required cookies the host may set for security or load-balancing.

Fonts: We load „Inter" from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). When the font loads, your IP and browser metadata are visible to Google. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (consistent typography). Details: Google Fonts Privacy.

Hosting: Firebase Hosting + Firebase Cloud Functions, region europe-west3 (Frankfurt). Operated by Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Dublin, Ireland; Google is EU-US Data Privacy Framework certified.

No analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Matomo, Piwik, or any other web-analytics service. No Social-Media widgets (Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram) are embedded.

Your rights

Under GDPR and the Austrian DSG you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and not to be subject to automated decisions (Art. 22). To exercise these rights or withdraw your consent, an informal message to hallo@8tribute.com is sufficient.

Complaint

If you believe the processing of your data violates the law, you may file a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: dsb.gv.at.
